Growing up, food was a central part of family. It was a way to show love and honour our Chinese heritage.

Over time, my love for food blossomed into a passion for nutrition. However, I know that food extends beyond nutrients - our relationship with it matters, too. We spend too much time riddled with anxiety on how, what, when to eat.

It's extra challenging if you're living with PCOS and other conditions - there's so much misinformation and confusion!

That’s why my goal as a Registered Dietitian is to combine clinical nutrition with intuition to help you heal your body and relationship with food.

As a PCOS and nutrition expert, my work has been featured in The Washington Post, CBC, Healthline, Primary Care Dietitians Association Conference, and more.

I also teach in the Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication program at Toronto Metropolitan University, training future dietitians to pursue excellence in their practice. I’m passionate about fostering a new generation of health professionals who are well-equipped to tackle complex nutritional challenges.

My passion lies in digestive and women’s health, and I am actively involved in research to advance nutrition knowledge and treatment in both areas. I am continuously seeking new nutrition-related insights and innovations to help my patients achieve optimal health!

As an advocate for cultural competency within dietetic practice, I also work with patients to explore different ways to incorporate their unique cultural food practices into their dietary lifestyle.
